Serena Schuler
Serena Schuler is a comedy writer and director developing the pilot Makeshift Society, a semi-finalist in the WIF Episodic Lab. She created the series Cake Walk, currently featured on Elizabeth Banks's new comedy site WhoHaha. Her music video Too Much Love parodied My Fair Lady's "I Could Have Danced All Night," and was a finalist in the 2017 Rachel Bloom Comedy Short Challenge.
Her first film, The Ten Plagues, won the Audience Award at the Washington Jewish Film Festival and Audience Award Runner-Up at the Women in Comedy Festival.
Serena is a member of Cinefemme, Women in Film, Alliance of Women Directors, and the co-founding team of the SF Web Fest. She was the keynote speaker of the 2016 Noe Valley Girls Film Festival.
Serena graduated with honors from Cornell University, received a masters in psychology from Columbia University.
