SYNOPSIS   
Cleaner Daze is a dark comedy webisode series set inside the cinderblock walls of a Juvenile Drug Treatment Center. The show follows Kate, the new rehab counselor, as she struggles to mentor a colorful crew of delinquent teens, while at the same time, battling the ghosts of her own checkered past. As the pent-up teens sneak around trying to do whatever they can to stay high, Kate and the rest of the eccentric staff do their best to “treat” them. As for the staff, well, they’re in recovery too. And once an addict, always an addict. 

MISSION
Cleaner Daze uses humor to shed light on the strange magic of recovery from alcohol and drug addiction. Our goal is to create an episodic series that brings ongoing production to Santa Cruz and provides local At-risk youth with opportunities to work in film production on a story they can relate to.

WEBISODE BREAKDOWN, Ep. 1-6

Episode 1: Shit Happens
Kate fumbles through her first day on the job as the new rehab counselor. When Squirt arrives to check herself in for treatment, an unexpected surprise from her past is there to greet her.

Episode 2: Deep Fried Twinkie
Kate gets schooled on the art of the intake. When Marianna discovers someone is stealing her underwear, she seeks vengeance.

Episode 3: Feel Him Again
The topic of “Fathers” gets the girls to open up about their crazy childhoods. When Kate gets home, she discovers a pipe in her stepsons old socks.

Episode 4: There She Blows
When Kate tries to break up a girl fight, somebody ends up in the hospital. And Kate has a lot of explaining to do. 

Episode 5: Fuck the World
When Kate finally gets the nerve to talk to her stepson about drugs, she walks in on him jacking off to hard core porn.

Episode 6: Hella High
Against Aisha’s better judgment, Kate visits Squirt in the Hospital. Meanwhile, Marianna and NIecey sneak around trying to get high on banana peels.
