Tracy Scarlato

Tracy Scarlato Raised in Allentown, PA, Tracy Scarlato is a writer based in LA. Tracy put her creative writing aspirations aside to earn a Finance degree at Lehigh University and a Marketing MBA at NYU (just to cover her bases). She worked in marketing at Polygram Entertainment and Palm Pictures, where she wrote and edited articles for RES Magazine, then Morgans Hotel Group and Starwood/Marriott, where she focused on telling compelling stories. After a cancer “wake up call”, she took screenwriting classes, and was a writer/ co-producer for an all-female sketch comedy troupe, DIRTY BIRDS, which performed in NYC in 2016. Tracy’s stories are character-driven and rooted in drama, with humor mixed in: OUT COLD (Screenplay; Finalist/2018 Female Film Festival; Semi-Finalist/2017 Screencraft Film Fund), ROCKED (Pilot; Jumpstart Top 50/2018, Honorable Mention/2017 Launch Pad. She has more in the works. Tracy recently moved from NYC to LA with her musician husband, Dave, and their dog, Ogie Oglethorpe.
