Puppett is a director who loves big and small stories that center on the human experience and deal with grey areas of morality. Based out of Los Angeles, they're also an actor and the Streaming Operations Manager at Seed&Spark. Since 2002, she has directed numerous fiction, non-fiction, and experimental short films. Wedlocked marks Puppett's directorial debut since graduating with a BFA in Film and Digital Video from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA. Finished in October 2015, the short comedy about same sex divorce inequality was accepted into over 40 film festivals worldwide and won four festival awards. Puppett followed Wedlocked immediately with Glenda, a love letter to Twin Peaks, which went on to premiere at the 2016 Slamdance Film Festival. Puppett is currently developing several projects, ranging from a suburban goth drama to a large scale fantasy film, all of which put a female protagonist at the front of the action.
