Porcha Evans Porcha Evans is a native Angeleno who took advantage of having Hollywood in her backyard by joining Towne Street Theatre company in LA where her stage plays, “Twisted Dance” and "When the Smoke Clears" were chosen to be a part of the annual TST 10 minute play festival for two years at the Stella Adler in Hollywood. In August of 2013, her 10 minute play, “She Said What?” was chosen to be a part of the annual NAACP Theatre Festival. Porcha completed her first short film, Fixed in 2014, which screened at the 2015 Pan African Film Festival in LA. In 2016, she co-wrote, “The Process”, a web series about an actor’s struggle to balance his personal and professional lives in LA. Season 1 was picked up by Black & Sexy TV’s YouTube channel. Most recently, “Maid of Dishonor”, a script she co-wrote was a 2016 Nicholl’s Quarterfinalist. Porcha is currently working on her next pilot and feature projects in addition to being a Top 50 finalist in BET's Project Cre8 contest.
