Christiny Martin

Christiny Martin Chris Courtney Martin is a screenwriter and budding producer from Philadelphia, PA. She took home the Grand Jury Prize for Best Screenplay at last year's Urbanworld Film Festival for her Thriller feature Pale Horse (which is currently being shopped by her manager and is featured on the 2018 Bitch List.) Martin has six years of experience as a script coverage analyst and a couple of short, independent productions under her belt-- with a couple more in pre-production. In 2017, Martin co-created and produced a web pilot starring Niecy Nash and Sheryl Lee Ralph, who also served as executive producers. In the past year, she has amassed eight top honors in screenwriting. Martin coined the motto "craft with conscience," which expresses her passion for producing socially relevant and politically progressive works without sacrificing artistic integrity. She is currently repped by Frederick James of The James Company.
