After relief work, patent licensing and raising a blended family, Betty Sullivan became a writer/producer and optioned her first feature script to a finance group. Recently she developed a true story adaptation with a noted production company. The latter put Betty on the 2018 Athena List. TABLE MANNERS, a filmed half hour she wrote and produced was a semi-finalist at Austin Film Festival's Digital Series section. EP’d on the feature ENDGAME with Rico Rodriguez. Won and placed in contests like The Athena List, Launch Pad Top 100 Pilots, Top Ten WAN, Stowe Story Labs, IRIS Labs, Happy Writers – Best Feature and Top Ten Pilots, and won LAFF for a pilot. Her life experiences propel Betty to write true story adaptation, strong females and social justice themes mostly as dramas and thrillers: She is currently writing and producing a feature. Directing is her next goal.
