Alexia Colette INDIE FILMS Impassioned by indie films, Alexia Colette has been covering the Sundance Film Festival for French-German public TV ARTE since 2016. She gained support for her feature narrative from SFFILM in 2018 and 2019. ACTING Alexia has taken acting classes for 10 years. Alexandre Astier and Joëlle Sévilla (Acting Studio, Kamelot) were some of her teachers. DOCUMENTARY FILMS Alexia has worked for 10 years for French national TV (France 2, Arte, M6, TF1) as a reporter and she has investigated on economic topics. She also has written/directed 5 documentary films (52 minutes, prime time). INNOVATIVE SCREENWRITING In 2015, she received an award from France’s public TV group France Télévisions for a national contest about neighborhoods. Her doc “No neighborhood!” (original French title “Pas de quartier !” toying with a double meaning in French: “no neighborhood” and “no pity") dealt with the discrimination towards French nomadic Gypsies.
