LOGLINE: Live your mission. Learn to fly.

PROJECT SYNOPSIS: An inspiring tale of success through friendship and winning dreams. Awkward knockout and trust-funder Dorothy, along with her feisty grandmother, Claire, rescue their newfound friend, sassy Southern belle Wilamena, from a suicide mission, after she leaves her cheating husband with nothing but a partially completed doctorate in psychology, designer luggage and a bottle of sleeping pills. They soon encounter Dorothy's African-American half sister, Monica, and a frustrated dancer named Sadja. Dorothy longs for romance but is crippled with self-doubt. Claire harbors a dark family secret. Wilamena just needs a break. Monica is a plagued by writer's block. Sadja wants artistic victory and commitment, but her gorgeous, oddly non-committal boyfriend, Michael, keeps getting in the way. Only by coming together, with the aid of the ghost of early American satirist, Dorothy Parker, can these unlikely heroines help each other make the courageous choices necessary to achieve love, and the highest of arts -- the truly inspired life. Feminist “Dogma” meets “Imitation of Life” and “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.”

MISSION OF PROJECT: Create and release an entertaining, groundbreaking and uplifting cinematic love letter to women and artists the world over that offers hope and healing.
