Savannah Rodgers Savannah Rodgers is an award-winning director, writer, and producer. Her accolades include the 2017 Next Gen Award from the Twister Alley Film Festival and the 2016 Fred G. Andrews Emerging Filmmaker Award from Kansas City FilmFest. Savannah founded Professional Amateur Productions in 2014. Recently, Savannah’s film DRAGTIVISTS won Best Kansas Documentary Short Film at the Tallgrass Film Festival. Savannah’s 2016 award-winning short film SKETCHES premiered at the Slamdance Film Festival. Her latest short film, QUEEN FOR A DAY, will be released in 2018. Savannah was a semifinalist for the Sundance Institute's Episodic Storytelling and YouTube New Voices labs in 2016. Her proposed web series, Poly, was an IndieWire Project of the Day. Savannah is currently a programmer for the Slamdance Film Festival.
