Holly Soriano is currently producing the feature “My Apocalyptic Thanksgiving.” It’s in post. She is also developing a short that she is writing, producing and directing. Its production is slated for 2018. “The Domestic” is a short she produced and it got into the Burbank Film Festival. She wrote the completed short “Choices.” Holly played a dead body just for fun in the short “Funny Fare.” As a way to cut her teeth with indie filmmaking, she started on the feature “Gunfight at La Mesa” with production design. She has also read for the Austin Film Festival, Scriptwriters Network Hollywood Outreach Program and their High Concept Contest. Her master of fine arts in screenwriting from National University and completing the Seattle Film Institute’s Screenwriting Certificate Program helped with those experiences. And Holly knew that there must be something to her screenwriting when her early scripts twice made the first cut into the Sundance Feature Film Program.
