Allie Avital

Allie Avital Raised in Queens, NY by Russian immigrants, Allie Avital spent her childhood in opera houses, as her father set designed large-scale productions all over the world. Today she is a music video and narrative director with a love of music, sound, and spectacle, having directed over two dozen music videos and short films. In 2015, she signed to Partizan for worldwide representation, where she has directed videos for Moses Sumney, Nao, Autre Ne Veut, Chairlift, Hundred Waters, and a short film for Ray Ban starring Kate Lyn Sheil with music by Grammy award winner Esperanza Spalding. Her work has been been Vimeo Staff Picked numerous times, featured in the New York Times, NPR, Nowness, Buzzfeed, PromoNews, "best of" lists, and has screened at SXSW, BAM Cinemas, IFC, BUG, Vimeo, and international film festivals. She currently splits her time between New York and Los Angeles, creating music content while writing a a feature film, a short, and an episodic series.
